Just wanted to say real quick that I'm reading Anne Lammot, and she's pretty amazing.
I really promise to blog more often; I need it!

this isnt'n re. Anne Lamott, but we'd like to see some pics of your deck and furniture! Also some better ones of living room furniture and plates on wall- you could go off blogging about pink plates! Love you, Mom
not only is she the patron saint of new moms--operating instructions is an absolute must read for anyone approaching parenthood--but "bird by bird" has kept me writing when i felt like folding myself up into my teeny little desk drawer and never coming out. i just heart anything she writes. apparently she has new stuff out on food and obsession or something like that--but again, i'm so there with her.
I'm a professor at a small liberal arts college in rural New England. I love Boston Terriers, books, and biscotti. Oh, and alliteration. I am a self-proclaimed cosmetics addict. Is there a 12-step program for that? According to one of those quizzes on the internet, I am also a "modern, cool nerd."
